The world is a really big place. So many countries, so many people.
That 2000 years ago Jesus Christ was born into the world of Israel, where after living about 33 years, He died for the sin and brokenness of our world, rose from the grave three days later, told His disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit, and then He ascended from a hilltop in Israel into the very heavens. He kept His word. He sent the Holy Spirit who empowered his disciples to tell the Good News about Jesus to everyone they met, everywhere they went.
So, what might Hood River, Oregon have to do with a place like, say, Israel?
